Abstract The Virtual Reality (VR) technology appears to offer promising potential to spacecraft operations. Typical applications that can be considered include the support of ground personnel in the control of spacecraft, the validation of procedures, the assessment of planning products and timelines, as well as the “look and feel” of operations such as tele-operations, for unmanned satellite missions and servicing missions, but also for manned missions.
