The high-speed railway disturbed by the hostile weather condition with increasing frequency, especially for the strong wind disaster. The attack pattern of the wind to the railway system is determined by the characteristics of the wind, which with strong randomness and uncertainty, including the time, position and intensity. Surveillance and forecasting of the wind are considered as the best solution to cope with the uncertain perturbations. However, due to the limitation of technology, cost and other factors, it is impossible to carry out all-weather real-time monitoring and analysis on the whole railway line. Accurate gale disaster-causing risk assessment and occurrence regularity study will be benefit for the gale pre-disaster warning and post-disaster recovery. In view of the uncertainty of gale disaster-causing factors, a gale disaster-causing risk classification method is proposed based on historical gale data, which innovatively divides the risk into accumulative type risk and impulse type risk, and they could fully reflects the action law of gale disaster-causing factors. Secondly, this paper constructs the spatial and temporal distribution map of the wind meteorological disaster risk along the high-speed railway in China. According to the spatial and temporal distribution map, prevention and control suggestions are given for different types and levels of risk areas.
