The article presents studies of the state of the Krasnodar water storage reservoir, which revealed that it is necessary to develop and implement measures to restore the water object. The technology has been developed for the restoration of the degraded water body, the degradation of which occurred due to the deposition of silts as a result of irrational anthropogenic activities. The substantiation of reclamation for the development of measures for the cleaning of benthal deposits is presented. The technology makes it possible to restore shallow water areas with dredgers, as well as areas of the water storage reservoir overgrown with trees and shrubs to create above water wide-profile fields according to taxa in the reservoir basin to accumulate the required amount of water for the needs of agriculture and fisheries.
