This research paper presents a fuzzy system tailored for application in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) to evaluate driver performance error. VANETs rely on real-time communication among vehicles and infrastructure to enhance road safety and traffic efficiency. The proposed system integrates four key input parameters: driver experience, skill level, mental and physical condition, and environmental stressors, with a focus on their relevance to VANET environments. Notably, the inclusion of environmental stressors, such as traffic congestion and adverse weather conditions, acknowledges the dynamic and unpredictable nature of VANET scenarios. Through fuzzy logic-based analysis, the system provides a nuanced evaluation of driver performance error, facilitating proactive measures to mitigate risks and improve overall traffic management in VANETs. This research contributes to the advancement of intelligent transportation systems by offering a comprehensive framework for assessing driver behavior and enhancing safety outcomes within VANET environments.
