The quality of protective relays is very important to the safe and efficient operation of electrified railway. The existing static test cannot test the dynamic performance of the protective relays completely. Based on the analysis of the test requirements, the traction transformer, traction network and traction load simulation models are built based on real time digital simulator (RTDS). Compared with the field test data, the simulation model can accurately simulate various load conditions and fault transient. Then, a dynamic simulation test platform with RTDS was built, and an automatic test script was written. The running results show that the dynamic model test platform can test automatically, accurately and efficiently.
