An excellent platform for vehicular networking has been built by Internet of Things (IoT) by holding and growing the state of being everywhere at once and has a large challenge and opportunity to change the day to day life and this is done by using technologies as wireless network, sensor devices, and the capability to figure out and communicate with the devices. The ability of communication amongst vehicles and their territory communication i.e. internal or external territory can be extended by different wireless connectivity. Equivalent to Such a networking solution for vehicles is habitually to be the next generation verge for automotive transformation and the fundamental and leading to progression for succeeding generations of intelligent vehicular systems (IVSs). In this paper, we focus on future challenges, enhancing technologies, advantages, and understanding for connectivity of vehicles using wireless technology and Ad-Hoc technology. We also discuss the objectives and challenges and retrospect the state-of-the-art wireless technology solution connect the vehicle to a sensor, to vehicle, to the Internet, and to the road infrastructure, to pedestrian, and to everything. Vehicular communication is a progressive technology that can be adapted in Intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs). We highlight on various mode to link of communication in IVS to understand the vehicular communication that is Vehicle-to-Vehicles (V2V) communication, Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I), Vehicles to Cloud (V2C), and Vehicles to pedestrian (V2P) communication system all of which applies the emerging wireless technologies and the system which provides early warning signals to reduce road accidents and congestions. We also review on the Vehicular network and its connectivity to other vehicles and near-by devices which take place by Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) and discuss on VANETs benefits. The developing factors need to be studied in the future development of the Internet of Vehicles, and also to establish a bilateral achievement in the development of exemplary that is noted role of government and alive support of the venture.
