The detection of the SOC was determined using the tangent function from the previous project, which Beck published in 2012 [62]. However, instead of the burn rate, the ROHR was therefore used. Furthermore, it was established that for the detection of the LTHR, the zero crossing of the ROHR provides more accurate results. Since, theoretically, no zero crossing has to occur with the calculated burn rate (see Figure 2.4), this was of course not defined in the previous project.
