This chapter presents a rover, which is capable of moving over rough terrain and debris to reach on to any explosive or potential life-threatening devices and help the user to study or monitor the characteristics of the device using a wireless live-feed camera. The proposed rover is equipped with a robotic arm armed with four degrees of freedom and sharp serrated blades to chop off any electrical connection to effectively defuse any potential bombs or explosive objects without risking any human life. Considering the mars rover’s suspension mechanism, the rover’s suspension was developed in such a way that it would have 90-degree freedom on four of its wheels having the rover’s own multisuspension. Thus, can move on any sort of terrain like rough surfaces, broken roads, muddy terrain, and most importantly can climb stairs. There are 6 wheels those have been implemented for the rover’s movement. The front 2 wheels act as support structure for the robotic arm and the rover itself, while the other 4 rear wheels act as climbers and help the rover to climb on challenging surfaces. The rover is programmed in such a way that allows the rover to turn and also letting the rover have superior maneuverability by allowing it to rotate 360° at one spot instantly.
