Based on the gear meshing theory and test data, an analysis method for early fault diagnosis of automotive drive axle is proposed. ARMA model is used to predict and analyze the gear vibration and fault trend. In this paper, the monitoring software of vehicle power transmission system based on ARMA prediction algorithm is designed, which is feasible and effective for the early failure diagnosis of vehicle driving bridge bench test.
