A 2 × 25 kV 50 Hz traction power supply system is analyzed and modelled in the frequency domain in order to simulate the short-circuit condition. A detailed model is essential to analyze the traction power supply system because of the complex layout of the traction network. The model of major components and the full-scale model of the high speed railway are developed. The detailed model and analysis method in this study provide a valuable reference and method for the research of the electrified railway fault condition analysis.
