In Sect. 3.2, the discrete-time BC for the fixed-wing UAV system without wind disturbances is studied, and the corresponding simulation results are shown. Then, the discrete-time SMC is used to realize the attitude control for the fixed-wing UAV system with time-varying disturbance in Sect. 3.3, and the results of simulation are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the discrete-time SMC method, followed by drawing some conclusions in Sect. 3.4.
