With the development of urban rail transit, load types of auxiliary inverter become more and more complex. A systematic control strategy is proposed for three-phase four-wire auxiliary inverter to ensure high quality output voltage under complex load condition. The inverter system is modeled and analyzed first. With this model, the optimal target is clarified. The control strategy is designed, which mainly aims at two aspects, namely reducing the output voltage harmonics and unbalance degree. When the load contains non-linear components, resonant controllers are applied to suppress the voltage harmonics, and the unbalance degree caused by unbalanced load is reduced by a zero sequence component controller. The theories are verified by simulation.
