Abstract A system of differential equations of the variable-mass body spatial motion was solved on the basis of a modern technique for calculating aerodynamic coefficients and inertial-mass characteristics of aircraft. The best working parameters of a jet engine were chosen to increase the flight range on retention of the optimal jet engine dimensions.
