The traditional ground target positioning adopts the aerial pod type design scheme, which integrates many components and benchmarks, makes it difficult to miniaturize, and the calibration work is also complex. Based on the requirements of systematization, clustering and cooperation, a low-cost target positioning system is designed for small unmanned reconnaissance platform with compact structure, limited load, reliability and economy. Different from the traditional aviation pod design, this method does not use pod inertial measurement device and laser rangefinder, and uses the POS data of the flight platform as the reference point to locate the target. In this paper, firstly, the coordinate system of target location is defined. On this basis, the coordinate transformation relationship in the process of location is determined, and the calculation model of single image target location is constructed. Secondly, the error analysis is carried out for each factor in POS data. Finally, the target positioning accuracy in reference state and the influence of various factors on the positioning accuracy are given by Monte Carlo simulation. The simulation results show that this method can ensure the positioning accuracy required by operational use, and the real-time solution is good, which has good engineering application.
