Although private transportation occasionally upgrades its engine specifications, design, usefulness, etc. the public transportation system has yet to receive the required improvements. Public transportation, particularly feeder buses, frequently fail to adhere to the timetable posted at station buses and is perpetually late for pickups. No application can view the current location of the bus, which is a concern for both train and bus passengers for public transportation. People these days want to be able to accomplish everything on a smartphone. In this paper, a bus tracking system that combines an Android application and a web server in real time is developed, enabling users to check the location of their desired transportation. The system can reduce waiting times and plan their travel or itinerary to avoid crowds, especially during peak hours.
