The paper presents the results of studies of milling the low stability stringers of the aircraft skin by the oppositely located end mills. The frequency parameters of vibrations of the processed surface of the stringer were practically determined using a piezoelectric sensor and an oscilloscope. The influence of frequency characteristics during up and down milling on the roughness of the machined surface has been revealed.
