Abstract Domestic short-range radio technical navigation system (SRNS) has an azimuth channel and a range channel [1–5]. The azimuth channel on the moving object allows detection of the angle to the radio beacon. The operation principle is temporary. On the azimuth channel, the radio beacon antenna pattern has a two-lobe form in the horizontal plane and can rotate at a frequency of 100 rev/min.
