Nowadays almost every road accident and deaths caused by road accidents are due to driving after consumption of alcohol. These major accidents and deaths can be controllable by checking vehicles using alcohol detectors by policemen. But this approach is unable to solve the issue of road accidents because police cannot check each and every vehicle. Alas, regardless of remarkable progress, liquor impaired riding remains an extreme country-wide trouble that dangerously impacts many victims per annum. In order to solve this issue, this research article designs an alcohol detection system using Raspberry Pi.
