Some scientists call transport law a thorny branch of law, others - a branch of legislation. The issue is debatable, but no matter the solution to the problem, this is undoubtedly an important area of public relations in need of legal regulation. In the development of these relations, on the one hand, it is taken into account that vehicles are sources of increased danger, and on the other hand, the possibility of quickly overcoming space with their help. It raises the question of the need to organize clear and safe traffic. In addition, any transport relationship needs clarity and certainty. In the course of their development, this can be achieved by developing and using Spatio-temporal properties. The latter represents a kind of conditional measure for a variety of processes, including legal ones. In the field of transport, legal space and time take on their respective meaning. To taking into account the specifics of transport law, it can be indicated that the Spatio-temporal characteristics in this area relate to the settlement of relations in the field of precise and safe movement of people, cargo, signals, and information from one space to another. All this seems to be necessary for the sphere of judicial proceedings. When considering cases of transport accidents, representatives of the judiciary pay special attention to the analysis of the spatial and temporal characteristics that existed during the period of their commission. It helps to objectively present a picture of what happened and contribute to the adoption of the correct decision.
