The modeling and tracking control of variable-wingspan aircraft are researched based on T-S fuzzy theory. The relationship between aerodynamic parameters and variation rate of aircraft is calculated. The T-S fuzzy model of aircraft is obtained via Jacobian linearization method and T-S fuzzy theory. In order to control the morphing aircraft, the T-S fuzzy controller is designed on the basis of the pole placement method and the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) method. The stability of the system is analyzed by Lyapunov method. The simulation result illustrates that the nonlinear model is well approximated by T-S fuzzy model and the morphing aircraft can track command signal accurately and maintain the stability of morphing process.
