In this paper, Maximum Likelihood Method is used to identify aerodynamic parameters of the variable sweep wing morphing aircraft. First, we give the longitudinal nonlinear dynamic model and aerodynamic model of the aircraft. Then the Maximum Likelihood Method is applied to solve aerodynamic parameters of morphing aircraft iteratively according to the response values obtained by the excitation signal and the sweep angle command. Finally, we use a new excitation signal to verify the effectiveness of the aerodynamic parameter identification results. Finally, simulation results show that the identification results match the theoretical value well, and the identified parameters can reflect aerodynamic characteristics of the morphing aircraft.
