In this paper, an improved consensus-based auction distributed target allocation method is proposed to solve the problem of target allocation in multi-UAV beyond visual range cooperative air combat. Firstly, by analyzing the impacts of air combat situation, the air combat target allocation model based on geometric situation is established. Then, by considering the cooperation of multiple UAVs and the coordination of multiple missiles from the same UAV, an improved asynchronous consensus-based auction algorithm is proposed, which can simultaneously indicate the indexes of targets and the number of missiles assigned to targets. The simulation results show that the algorithm can converge quickly in limited steps. Compared to the original algorithm, the algorithm has more reasonable allocation results and can improve the overall distribution score.
