Based on Stroke-Segment-Mesh model, a method of normalization converting online handwriting Chinese characters to Stroke- Segment-Mesh Glyph is presented. Firstly, normalize the key points of every stroke. And then normalize relative position relationships of strokes. Using the method of normalizing sequential key points improves the normalization method of handwriting Chinese character, and thus figure out the problem of stroke segment translocation when normalizes complex strokes. The method of normalizing relative position relationships of strokes is to ensure relative position relationships consistency among the strokes of mesh glyph and the handwritten Chinese character by moving, extending or shortening the corresponding strokes. Experimental results indicate that the presented method has much better converting effect and sets foundation for stroke- segment-mesh glyph recognition and the Chinese characters quality evaluation.
