Equatorial plasma bubbles (EPB), specifically anomalies in the ionosphere, have a substantial effect on the accuracy of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning. This study aims to examine the GNSS receiver signal’s inaccuracy in the presence of EPB over Biak (1.02 \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$^{\circ }$$\end{document} S, 136 \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$^{\circ }$$\end{document} E, 9.11 \documentclass[12pt]{minimal} \usepackage{amsmath} \usepackage{wasysym} \usepackage{amsfonts} \usepackage{amssymb} \usepackage{amsbsy} \usepackage{mathrsfs} \usepackage{upgreek} \setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-69pt} \begin{document}$$^{\circ }$$\end{document} dip lat.), Indonesia. We use GNSS data obtained from the Indonesian Continuously Operating Reference System (INACORS) to generate maps of the rate-of-total electron content (ROTI). These maps depict the occurrence of equatorial plasma bubbles (EPB). Likewise, we employ single-point positioning for a fixed station at Biak station, which is a part of INACORS, to determine the magnitude of positioning errors. Our study revealed that the GNSS signal exhibited a maximum positioning error of nearly 10 m with respect to the EPB, predominantly in the north-south direction.
