Abstract This discussion dealt with the legal frameworks, their limitations, and their foreseen evolution from both a public and a private sector viewpoint. During his introductory remarks, A. Kerrest highlighted the fact that the majority of countries do not have domestic laws regarding space activities, only an obligation to license their launch activities.
