The seaport passenger boarding bridge is used at the home port or dock of cruise ships and is a passage for passengers to get on and off the ship. On the basis of a brief introduction to the functions of seaport passenger boarding bridges and the development status of seaport passenger boarding bridges at home and abroad, this chapter summarizes and analyzes nine different forms of seaport passenger boarding equipment and their characteristics; then focuses on a detailed analysis of the structure, overall composition, features of each part, connecting-ship and leaving-ship operation process, and overall design and calculation of the L-type double telescopic mobile boarding bridge; and finally makes a brief introduction of the technical performance parameters, selection considerations, and standards of typical seaport passenger boarding bridges.
