Using systems’ approach in management, we are presenting our investigation in the future of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and the integration of the Autonomous Vehicles (AV), as one of the accompanying subsystems. According to the current technology progress in automotive engineering, there are sixth levels of vehicles’ autonomy. For the transition to autonomous driving, proper regulations, support and services are needed. While the technology is ready, and constantly being improved, there are lot of questions and investigations in the readiness of public to accept it. In addition to that, we are now entering period of another significant change due to the emergence of Electrical Vehicles (EV), as well as new models of vehicles’ ownership and use, such as ride sharing. Transportation systems, as complex engineering systems, are dynamic and subject to constant transformation and improvements. Apart from the customers, key stake holders are general public, businesses, automotive industry and governments. Considering interests of all, we are presenting here our view of the roadmap for the transition.
