The tilting wing distributed electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicle is characterized by a biplane configuration, consisting of both front and rear wings. This design offers significant advantages in terms of aerodynamic efficiency, facilitates rapid take-off and landing, and enhances cruising performance. Additionally, the flutter characteristics of the vehicle play a crucial role in ensuring flight safety. A tandem-wing electric vertical take-off and landing configuration vehicle undergoes comprehensive ground vibration testing and flutter analysis. The dynamics model of the entire aircraft is established using finite element analysis. Through the ground vibration test of the entire aircraft, the vibration modes and frequencies are obtained. The finite element model is modified to calculate the key mode frequencies of the aircraft, ensuring that the error remains within 5% compared to the test results and the vibration modes are consistent. Finally, an analysis of the flutter characteristics of the entire aircraft is conducted based on the modified finite element model. Research demonstrates good consistency between ground vibration tests and simulation analysis results. The flutter speed is 100 m/s, and the flutter frequency is 35.95 Hz. Flutter is induced by the coupling of aileron rotation and high-order wing bending mode. It provides an important reference for the optimized design of subsequent aircraft.
