This research investigates the efficacy of integrating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (also known as drones) with Global Navigation Satellite System positioning technology for aerial photography applications within the context of digital technologies. This paper focuses on a comparative analysis of Real-Time Kinematic and Post-Processed Kinematic workflows for aerial photography acquired using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles equipped with Global Navigation Satellite System receivers. The study evaluates the impact of this different Global Navigation Satellite System positioning methodologies on the efficiency and accuracy of data acquisition and processing. Through experimental results and an analysis of operational principles, the research aims to guide the selection of optimal data processing workflows that meet current accuracy standards for various Unmanned Aerial Vehicle platforms, emphasizing the benefits and limitations of each approach within the broader landscape of information technology applications in geospatial data acquisition.
