As medium-voltage Direct Current (DC) electrical network has become the main development direction of large Marine ship power system, it integrates several modules such as power generation, distribution, energy conversion, equipment power consumption and system optimization, and realizes the integration of power system and propulsion system. This paper first introduces the characteristics and fault types of ship integrated power system (IPS), then discusses the application of intelligent optimization algorithm in the reconfiguration of ship power system, summarizes a variety of algorithms proposed by domestic and foreign researchers to improve the fault recovery ability of ship electrical network, and explains their shortcomings. Finally, several proposals for advancing the reconfiguration of ship integrated power systems in the future are introduced, focusing on algorithm refinement and distributed architecture.
