The extensive application of automatic driving technology must be based on sufficient test verification, so the test technology of auto drive system also develops rapidly and iteratively. In this paper, a Vehicle-in-the-Loop (VIL) platform for auto drive system test verification is studied. It has real dynamic response, rich Scenarios, high test efficiency and low test cost. After studying the platform architecture, key sensor simulation technology, and data injection technology, a vehicle in the loop simulation system was constructed, and VIL simulation and real vehicle testing comparisons were conducted. The results indicate that the test results of VIL simulation technology are reliable and can be used for testing and verifying autonomous vehicles.
