In order to improve the safety and reliability of the maritime dangerous chemicals transportation, the concept of the resilience of MDCTS (Maritime Dangerous Chemicals Transportation System) is proposed and the resilience of the MDCTS is modeled. The system safety resilience assessment index system is constructed in the viewpoint of three perspectives, including resistance capacity, adaptability capacity and recovery and optimization capacity. The MDCTS resilience evaluation model is also established by TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution). The model is applied to solve the index closeness to divide the resilience level and describe the superiority and inferiority of the three levels of indicators by fuzziness. The system resilience evaluation is analyzed by an accident chemical ship and a Chinese chemical ship. The results show that the model is feasible. Resilience assessment of MDCTS provides a reference for ensuring the safety of maritime dangerous chemicals transportation.
