AMS6274S results from a Five-Year Review and update of this specification. The update revises analytical methods (3.1), prohibits unauthorized exceptions (3.6, 4.4.4, 5.2.1, 8.7), revises macrostructure requirements (3.3.1, 8.9), adds reduced testing per AMS2301 (4.2.1, 4.4.1, 4.4.3, 4.4.5), and modifies hardenability (3.3.3).
