This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant steel in the form of bars, wire, and forgings 7.0 inches (178 mm) and under in nominal diameter or least distance between parallel sides, and forging stock of any size (see 8.6). AMS5614F prohibits unauthorized exceptions (3.6), revises composition to update applicable analysis standards (3.1), condition (3.2.1.4), properties (3.3.2.2), reports (4.4), and identification (5.2.1.1), and is a Five-Year Review and update of this specification.
