AMS6300H results from a Five-Year Review and update of this specification that revises analytical methods (3.1), condition (3.2.2), macrostructure (3.3.1.1) hardenability (3.3.3), and decarburization (3.3.4.4) and prohibits unauthorized exceptions (3.6) and revises quality (3.4.2), reporting and marking (4.4.1, 4.4.4, 5.2.1).
