In current scenario, delivering the right product at right time is very crucial in rapidly growing automotive sector to grab the competitive advantage. In the development phase, validation process takes most of the product development time. Any change in driveline system like Gearbox, drive head or tire will call for speedometer and odometer test as per legislative requirements. This paper aimed on reducing the validation time for speedometer and odometer calibration of commercial vehicles. New simulation test facility is designed and developed for Speedometer and Odometer calibration which brings agility in validation process and helps in reducing development time. It avoids physical test at test track, workshop technician activities, reduces driver fatigue and fuel consumption.This paper talks about the hardware, software system architecture and process adopted in the software to meet legislative requirements, Correlation study carried out to establish high correlation between laboratory and test track, Study of speedometer and Odometer error in different platform of instrument clusters which has same driveline configuration. Field failure analysis. Evaluation and calibration of developed simulation test facility. The test facility was developed using NI Platform with compact form factor and optimized through put to provide precise control of speedometer. Customized GUI developed to configure the driveline of commercial vehicle and result will be stored as per legislative requirements
