The combined thermal vacuum test of men-extravehicular space suits-spacecraft is necessary to guarantee the safety of astronaut and the success of flight operation. Through the tests, the astronauts would be familiarized with the space environment by the test; their psychological endurance would be increased; and the disfigurement of design, manufacture and operation procedure of the manned spacecraft would be discovered. The foundation of successful test comprises perfect complete ground test facility, correct test technology, complete test plan and content, reasonable technology specification and simulation procedure. In this paper, the principal objectives and the major contents of the combined thermal vacuum test of men-extravehicular space suits-spacecraft that is planned to be conducted in KM6 in near future are introduced. Three schemes of the test are described. The possible hidden troubles of safety are analyzed and the relevant countermeasures and security systems are put forward. The main technical specification of the facility is presented and ten key subsystems, namely vacuum chamber, liquid nitrogen, gas nitrogen, re-pressurization, environment control, thermal flux simulation, telecommunication control and fire fighting, are introduced briefly and respectively.
