The art of placing concrete through flexible lines, though not new, has developed to a stage where a commercially acceptable machine is economically justified. To develop the art further, the P-50 Hydra Placer has been designed to meet the growing needs of the building trade. This machine is a 40-50 cu yd/hr machine, with capability of placing concrete 600 ft horizontally or 120 ft vertically. The placement power is developed hydraulically by an in-line piston pump mounted directly to the engine. Concrete flow is controlled and directed by four concrete flow valves located in the placement chamber.
