ISAO KANEKO - Domestic union - The merger of Japan Airlines and Japan Air System in 2002 to form the world's second-largest carrier has given the new group some much-needed balance, particularly in the domestic market to compete effectively with rival All Nippon Airways. Kaneko is leading an integration that will see the two carriers operating under the name of Japan Airlines from April for the first time.
