Status of NIAC Phase I study for NIAC Symposium (remote). An overview of the Insitu Titan Sample Return concept. The Compass team developed a concept to return 3 kg of cryogenic samples from the surface of Saturn's moon Titan by gathering ~3000 kg of ice and methane to fuel an inflatable, 3 stage launch vehicle to propel a return vehicle and aeroshell back to earth.
