This paper describes the major changes made in Space Station Program since the July-October 1989 configuration/budget reviews, held to realign the program with the anticipated near-term funding reduction in the U.S. The changes introduced will affect the power system, the development of a new high-pressure spacesuit for the Station EVAs, the propulsion system for altitude maintenance, the number of airlocks, the utility runs of coolant to external payloads, and the laboratory support equipment, with some of these systems being improved and others to be eliminated.
