Flight test results and analysis techniques are presented for an automatic All Terrain Ground Collision Avoidance System (AT GCAS). The AT GCAS was flight demonstrated on the Advanced Fighter Technology Integration (AFTI)/F-16 and hosted on a production digital F-16 flight control system. Over 200 automatic recoveries were initiated at dive angles up to 50 degrees, all bank angles, and airspeeds ranging from 270 to 570 knots. New methods were developed to analyze data, allowing identification of subsystem error contributions. The resulting system performance is presented with conclusions.
