The Industrial Launch Vehicle (ILV) is a four-stage vehicle designed to place 1400 kg in a 250 km circular polar orbit for less than $8,000,000 U.S. The vehicle is comprised of 19 essentially identical hybrid engine modules. A suborbital test flight is planned, followed by orbital flight. Design rationale and development progress of the ILV are discussed.
