Prototype design of a Shipping Pack/Launcher was accomplished and two units were ground fired for proof of feasibility. Two units were delivered for design evaluation. An adjunct advantage of the use of the Pack/Launcher rather than M227 Launcher, would be greater than 200 pounds reduction in external stores weight for a 4-launcher armament.
