The engineering test procedure describes test methods and techniques for evaluating the adverse effects of simulated rainfall on the technical performance and characteristics of communication, surveillance and avionic electronic equipments. The evaluation is related to the criteria expressed in qualitative materiel requirements (QMR), small development requirements (SDR), technical characteristics (TC), or other applicable documentation prescribing design requirements and specifications.
