This report covers an analytical and experimental program to generally advance the state of the art of rocket engine components applicable to prepackaged tactical weapon systems. The principal objective of the program was a thorough investigation of the feasibility of the TRW single-element coaxial injector concept with halogenated oxidizer systems. Specific tasks consisted of development and demonstration of a durable, stable, high performing injector with ClF3/MHF-3; thrust chamber wall environmental studies; thrust chamber materials evaluations; ClF3/Alumazine performance evaluations; and boost/sustain duty cycle demonstrations.
