The project consists of the extension of the Kennedy Freeway 0.8 mile in South Omaha, Nebraska. Two interchanges will provide access to four-lane facility. Adverse environmental effects include relocation of residents of 42 single-family units, 19 trailer houses and 56 transient type rooms and flats. Acquisition of right of way will be required. Construction will remove vegetation from large areas of soil which will create the possibility of erosion and associated water pollution during construction.
