This report, conducted by Wilbur Smith Associates, was funded by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. It was conducted to determine the feasibility of a new railway connecting Tsumeb with Ondangwa, Oshakati and Oshikango in Namibia. The three volume study contains information on route segments, freight and passenger traffic projections, financial and economic analysis, financing options, and facility and equipment needs. This project has a potential for U.S. exports in the $43 million range, with the biggest potential in the export of locomotives and spare parts. The three volumes are Volume 1 (main report) Volume 2 (executive summary) and Volume 3 (Appendices).
