The objectives of the test was to determine the safety and reliability of the container, to determine if the container provided adequate protection for ammunition when exposed to the environmental and storage conditions and to determine if the container was capable of withstanding the shock, vibration, and handling encountered in shipment by land, sea, and air transportation.
