The airport improvements include: Land acquisition; extend runway 2700 feet to 6000 feet; widen the existing 3300 foot runway from 60 to 100 feet; construct and light partial parallel taxiway and turnaround; relocate existing MIRL and install 2700 feet of MIRL; approach clearing and miscellaneous items. The construction will provide a 24-hour landing area capable of accommodating all propeller and business jet aircraft of less than 30,000 pounds GDWL with the ability to take off and land on a 6000 foot runway at this location.
